AGC of California 2020 Officers Elected Installation & Awards Gala Slated for January 31 in San Francisco


AGC of California will formally


install its 2020 officers during the Installation and Awards gala on January 31, 2020 at the Fairmont San Francisco Hotel. Te elected officers along with AGC CEO Peter Tateishi make up the eight-member Executive Committee of AGC of California, the state’s largest statewide construction association which is celebrating its centennial year in 2020.


President Mike Blach AGC of California 2020


President Mike Blach has led Blach Construction for over 30 years, serving as President until 2017 when he assumed the role as Chairman of the Board. He has been active in AGC of California for nearly three decades, culminating with his role as President this year. Blach served on the Santa Clara District board for more than 20 years, including as Chair, and on the Building Division and State Boards. He was Senior Vice President, Vice President and Treasurer of AGC-CA in 2019, 2018 and 2017, respectively. Blach holds a variety of leadership


positions in his local community. He is on the Board of Regents at Santa Clara University and board of directors of KQED and has served as board president and board member of Sacred Heart Community Service, the Rotary Club of San Jose, and Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County, among other organizations.
