on my living room wall. I have always tried to follow that in my day to day. In the last month, I have had two unexpected hospital stays. One morning my husband came home from being at his father’s house, and he found me violently ill, running a high fever, and un- able to move my left arm. He called 911 and I was transported to the local hospital and then several hours later moved to the University of Virginia Hospital where I had been treated several times in the past. My husband, Tony, was not allowed to go with me or visit me for a couple of days due to Covid 19 restrictions. Through the course of all of the testing, an MRI showed a Dural Arteriovenous Fistula (AVF) in some veins and arteries in my head. I had three procedures done and none of them com- pletely fixed the AVF. One day, while doing all of the daily routine neurological checks, a couple of the neurology staff commented on how calm I was despite all that was going on. I gave credit to God for that calmness. “Cast all of your anxiety on him because he cares for you says”, 1 Peter 5:7. I face at least one more procedure to attempt to repair the AVF and am praying for that continued calmness and for healing. If the procedure does not work, I am facing a major brain surgery. I know what- ever I have to go through is God’s plan. This article is a good bit shorter than most,

because as I write, I am still recovering from the first three procedures and find it difficult to concentrate, read, and reference scripture. I prayed about this article, and God led me to write this, however short. Just know in your lowest times, God is there. Worry less and pray more.?

he Bible tells us over 350 times not to worry or be afraid. Recently I hung the words “Worry Less, Pray More”
