September PRAYER CALENDAR
It’s Fall! With the end of summer comes plenty of change. The weather grows cooler, the leaves turn beautiful shades of red and orange, and a whole new school year lies ahead of us.
School always makes me think about books. I love to read! You can learn so much by reading; anything from the history of our country to how to build a model airplane! Other books are just for fun; stories about pirate ships, animals, or even outer space.
Although there are countless wonderful books to read, we all know that not everything we read, hear, or see is true. Sometimes in our world what the truth different things, confusing.
today, it is difficult to know is. Different people often tell us and sorting it all out can be
However, God is perfect, and He gives us His perfect word to guide us through our lives. That Word is the Bible! We can be sure that every single sentence in the Bible is totally true. God never makes mistakes.
The Bible is practically God speaking to us through paper! Isn’t that amazing? God gave us the Bible as a gift, and you can trust every bit of it. There is absolutely no other book like it in the whole world! As Christians, we can know the truth by spending time reading the Bible, memorizing verses, and learning about God’s word by attending church. If we are ever unsure if something we read, hear, or see in the world is true, we can compare it to what God tells us in the Bible. Also, if you’re unsure about something, feel free to ask a parent, pastor, or Sunday school teacher.
The Bible is the most special book, so be sure to spend some time studying it over the rest of this year. You can trust that it is completely true.
“All scripture is God breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” – 2 Timothy 3:16, 17 “For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” – Hebrews 4:12
