The planting of Trinity Pres in this part of the country stands out as unique and necessary since there is minimal access to a gospel-centered, re-  in providing the saints with Trinity Pres as a place to call home. Over the years, Trinity has grown with members not only from the city of Norman, but with members who were willing to drive 2 hours one way to be part of this new ARP church plant. Distance, to them, was no consideration when one gets to gather weekly to taste and see that the Lord is good through gospel proclamation, through Word and sacrament; through confessions of faith; through reading of law, confession of sin, and hearing words of assurance. The Christian on his weary journey needs these precious gifts that God has so graciously given through the church. We recognize our purpose: to help our members glorify God and to en- joy him forever (WSC Q.1). This is the calling of the church, for “unto this catholic visible Church Christ has given the ministry, oracles, and ordi- nances of God, for the gathering and perfecting of the saints, in this life, to the end of the world: and does, by His own presence and Spirit, according to His promise, make them effectual thereunto” (WCF 25.3). God has called many to join in this work of gathering and perfecting the saints for Christ’s church in Norman and beyond — and the people of God rejoice. Trinity Presbyterian Church was organized on September 19 by Flor-

ida Presbytery.
