Dad found Sherwood staring at his computer. It was clear to him that

Sherwood wasn’t happy. Dad asked, “What’s going on?” Sherwood answered, “I thought things were doing better, but now it doesn’t look so good. I’m afraid of things I don’t understand.” “Tell me,” Dad said, “Maybe I can help.” At school, grownups argue about making the students wear masks or not

wear masks. Now it even looked like school may have to go back on the internet again. Dad said, “Don’t spend a lot of time worrying about it. Whatever hap- pens, you need to try your best to learn as much as you can.” Sherwood said the internet was even worse. People wrote crazy things. Doc- tors were saying get the shot, don’t take strange medicine. Others said don’t

trust doctors, don’t get the shots, and try some medicine they like. Other internet things were even worse than that! Dad said, “When it comes to the internet, I remember an old saying: ‘Don’t believe everything you hear and only half of what

you see!’ Anybody can put anything on the internet, and there is no way you can trust what you read there.” Sherwood told dad that on TV, some folks are always saying others can’t be trusted. He said, “Too many people are pointing  Dad said, “Sherwood, don’t trust in folks who constantly argue with each other. Not the internet. Not somebody on TV! We

are thankful that our help comes from the Lord. He will not let us down when times get bad. Pay less attention to the internet and trust more in your parents and God.
