14. Discussion of remaining funds from Eastern KY Flood. 15. KY Student Chapter at Auburn. AUCVM student Shelby Ackerman presented their student chapter updates. • White Coat ceremony was on February 18th. 36 Kentucky students received their white coats.
• Significant interest in Glen Sellers program from students • Match Program for practitioners and preceptors • AUCVM wants to continue sending 2 students to MAVC annually
16. KY Student Chapter at LMU. LMU CVM student Lauren Compton presented their student chapter updates. • Kentucky student chapter is developing and they will have official officers • White coat ceremony took place on January 20th. • Current class has 11 students that are interested in practicing in KY after they graduate
17. Committee Reports. • Power of Ten – looking for Power of Ten graduate who is willing to take on coordinating duties. Students interested in coaching session with a financial advisor.
• Committee for KDA Working Group – Looking for ways to address business management to make practices more profitable and to make it more attractive for younger graduates to go to rural practice.
• SART Committee and OSV updates. • Purchase/Ownership of Clinic Committee- Dr. Mandy Williams has in progress. • AVMA Report by Dr. Vice and Dr. Shoulders – 3 candidates for presidency that will be voted on at the summer meeting. Push for diversity/equality/inclusion. New policy on prescription drugs. Model of practice act. Responsibility to provide emergency care in Arkansas. Impact of work place culture/ wellbeing/retention. Constituent Reports

• BTVMA Clinic Days Meeting will be held June 3-4, 2023. • Greater Louisville has several learning meetings organized for the next few months • KAEP had joint meeting with farm managers late January • South Central has plans to meet late April. • No other constituent updates.
