The last point has been the mission of the IAVM Foundation, ever since I became a Trustee three years ago when the “Build an Amazing Future Campaign” was created. The reason I continue to work on behalf of the Foundation is because I believe in the Mission. We as


 venues that serve the public. They contract for our services, buy our products, and depend upon us to make their jobs easier. What better way is there to thank them than by investing in their future by donating to the Foundation? Your donations will go to some incredible programs that are focused on the development of Young Pro- fessionals in our organization. These include the following initiatives: • 30 Under 30 • Joseph A. Floreano Scholarship and Internship Program Connect Scholarships • AVSS Scholarship • Venue Management School Scholarship and Internship Program • VenueConnect Scholarship and Internship Program I have had the opportunity to select recipients for these scholarships, and I am constantly amazed at


the energy and enthusiasm all the candidates show for their profession and the industry. They are hungry for knowledge and thirsty for opportunities to understand all aspects of the business. One of the common threads with all these future leaders is their desire to share their experience and new insights with coworkers at their facility. It is humbling to be part of this process and sad that more of these young professionals can   Fellow Allied members, you can be part of the solution. By donating to the Foundation, you allow these


programs to continue. It is your way to “pay it forward.” The more of you who donate, the more we can assure that the solvency and growth of these initiatives will continue. I am proud to be a member of the design and construction community that supports this industry. Unfor-


   I will be reaching out to all my design and construction colleagues to join me in making a commitment to   solid footing to ensure support for our future leaders. I ask other Allied members who are equally interested to join us as well.


Our clients and customers depend on us as Allied members to help them create outstanding facilities.
