BENTGRASS

BLUEGRASS

BLUEGRASS

Tillinghast (DLFPS-AP-3084) creeping bentgrass (Agrostis stolonifera) demonstrates excellent turf quality under both putting green and fairway management in the 2023 NTEP trials. It is fine textured with a medium-dark green color. Tillinghast shows superior resistance to dollar spot (caused by Clarireedia jacksonii), brown patch (caused by Rhizoctonia solani), and pink snow mold (Microdochium nivale). In addition, it shows excellent resistance to anthracnose (Colletotrichum cereale) and pythium root rot. Tillinghast has high density without bentgrass bloat which makes it more resistant to Poa annua invasion and easier to manage thatch. Te early spring greenup also

helps it resist annual bluegrass. DLF USA

BERMUDAGRASS

Copperhead (DLF-460/3048) seeded bermudagrass (Cynodon dactylon var. dactylon) has demonstrated excellent turf quality and is ideal for homes, parks, and sports fields. For use in many turf sites, its rapid establishment and superior drought tolerance make it shine. It shows a dark green color with the medium fine leaf texture found in seeded bermudagrasses. It has shown good spring dead spot and dollar spot resistance which helps its performance in wear sites.

In the Rutgers University DNA SNP marker analysis, these varieties have been determined to be Skye types, also a GO Seed variety. While both varieties have shown good drought tolerance, Bombay tied for #2 for overall drought tolerance. Cloud and Bombay feature excellent resistance to most turfgrass diseases; most notably they are in the top statistical group for summer patch resistance.
