Journey to the Pebble Beach

Concours I did not know it at the time, but when I purchased my Miura in 2012 I was starting down a road of work that would lead me to crossing the ramp at the Pebble Beach Concours just four years later. An honor and important milestone in my Miura ownership, the Pebble Beach experience alone made the long hours and investment worthwhile!

Andrew

Romanowski and his Miura going through the judging process and receiving his third place Miura 50th Anniversary class award on the Pebble Beach ramp (BELOW).

It’s difficult to say enough about this topic, but having a successful experience with a classic car like a Lamborghini Miura requires the knowledge and experience (and spare parts) that come with relationships with friends, fellow owners, service shops, and your local authorized Lamborghini dealer. The shop that restored my car: Evans Automotive (This is the second year in a row this shop put a Lamborghini across the ramp at PBC!), the consultation from Miura experts: Valentino Balboni, Craig Comontof- ski, and Jeff Stephan, and the Monterey sup- port team of Bob Huber, Mike Trivich, Uno Junghans, Tony Labejian, Laust Pedersen, and Scott Reiner, were all essential in getting on the lawn and across the ramp at PBC.
