Mid-Missouri basketball is getting better. And the future is bright for young players and our local school teams, thanks in part to Show “We deeply believe that you don’t win state championships with
travel ball teams,” Allison said. “You win them with the teammates you grow up alongside in your local school system.” “We sincerely believe that if these athletes start playing togeth- er at an early age,” Thomas adds, “they can mature and grow into top-level teams and see success in high school.” It’s a formula that is also designed to keep players and families together while growing school pride early. Eldon School District Superintendent Matt Davis is a big fan of Show Me Shootouts! “We’ve had the pleasure of working with Show Me Shootouts for several years, particularly during our youth bas- ketball leagues held in January and February,” Davis stated. “Their dedication and reliability have been instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation at our events.”
It’s also a great way to showcase local school facilities and take pride in them, with teams and families coming in from other parts of the state. These events also give local schools the chance to raise funds for their programs by running concessions during tournaments.
