Peanut Butter Cookies


These simple cookies are a perfect after-school snack and a sweet treat to deliver to neighbors. Have fun baking these with your mom or dad!


Ingredients: • 1 cup brown sugar • 1 cup creamy peanut butter • 1 large egg • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


Instructions: • Preheat oven to 325 degrees. • Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. • Roll dough into balls approximately one inch wide. Place balls one inch apart on baking sheet.


           Tip: dip fork in white granulated sugar before pressing each cookie. This will prevent dough from sticking to the fork.


          until golden brown. Remove from pan and allow to cool on wire racks.


• Enjoy with a cold glass of milk! Optional: Add mini chocolate chips to batter for a fun twist!





These mason jars are a magical fall decoration. Ask for your parents’ help!


Grab: • Your favorite fall leaves (you can use pressed leaves from your yard or craft leaves from your local craft store)


• A clean mason jar (any size works) • Mod Podge • A paint brush • Twine or ribbon • An LED tea light


Go: • Apply Mod Podge to the jar and place a leaf on top. Coat the leaf generously with Mod Podge (remember, it will dry clear). Let dry.


• Once the first leaf is dry, repeat step one with the second leaf.


• Repeat steps one and two until your jar is covered with leaves!


• Coat the entire jar with a generous layer of Mod Podge. Let dry.


• Tie a length of twine or ribbon around the rim of the     
