River City Reformed On March 15, 2026, at 5 PM, a service of organization was held for River City Re-
formed Presbyterian Church in Little Rock, Arkansas. River City Reformed Presbyterian Church was organized as a congregation of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church in the Mississippi Valley Presbytery. “We are grateful to God for His kindness and faith- fulness to us. We are also thankful for those who have served on the provisional session, our presbytery, our congregation, and all those who participated in the service and came to the service to worship the Lord and celebrate with us” Rev. James Ritchey said.
Executive Director of Central Services
On behalf of the Executive Board of Synod, we are pleased to announce Rev. Charles Hammond as the new Executive Director of Central Services. Rev. Hammond brings more than 30 years of faithful ministry and leadership experience. Since 2005, he has served as Senior Pastor of Unity ARP Church in Lancaster, SC.

Earlier in his ministry, Rev. Hammond served in Tampico, Mexico, with World Witness as both a missionary and profes- sor. He has also been actively involved in denominational leadership for many years, serving on various presbytery and synod committees and as Moderator of both First and Catawba Presbyteries. In addition to his pastoral and denom- inational work, Rev. Hammond has dem- onstrated a strong commitment to com- munity engagement through volunteer outreach efforts such as Night to Shine. He holds a Master of Divinity from Erskine Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Science from Clemson Uni- versity, along with additional training in evangelism and biblical counseling. Rev. Hammond is known for his
strengths in teaching, discipleship, ad- ministration, and pastoral care. We are grateful for the experience and servant leadership he brings to this role. Please join us in welcoming Rev. Charles Hammond as Executive Director of Central Services.
