roverbs 31:30b says, “A woman who fears the Lord, shall be praised”. Our denomination
minister, invited ladies from several ARP churches to her home for a meeting and the Second Presbyterial Union was soon organized. Many other Presbyterials were soon formed, and in 1915, a meeting with representatives from all of the existing Reformed Presbyterian Journal of Missions” began to be published and although it has changed names and format over the years (the Synodical Journal, The Associated Reformed Presbyterian and now the ARP), it has continued to keep readers informed Egypt, our ladies began a tradition that continues today of celebrating our Jubilee Birthday Ladies and providing partial support of missionary ladies. There have been many ladies who have been designated as Jubilee Birthday ladies and our current la- dies are Rebekah Carson and Shelia Osborne. In the early years of this celebration, it was suggested that each lady give a coin (penny, nickel, dime, quarter) for each year church where donations are collected for the Jubilee Birthday fund. By 1966, the women had decided that they wanted to have a building at Bonclarken where they could meet and the idea for Synodical Hall was born. The women raised the money to buy the land, to pay for an architect to draw up plans and to pay for construction of the building. Many ladies saved their green stamps (and other colored stamps books) and most of the furnishings were paid for by other groups during the year. Each year, in July on Wednesday during the Family Bible Conference, a Silver Tea is hosted by one of the Presbyterials where delicious - come to come enjoy the fellowship and goodies.
