Dr. Robert Cathcart (D.Min. ’07) serves as pastor of Friendship Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Laurens, S.C. He and his wife Sarah have two sons, two daughters, a daughter-in- this August. He previously co-wrote an essay with Dr. Hughes Oliphant Old entitled, “From Cassian to Cranmer: Singing the Psalms from Ancient Times Until the Dawning of the Reformation,” which was published in the compilation Sing a New Song: Recov- ering Psalm Singing for the Twenty-First Century. Robert also enjoys composing new hymns and Psalm settings.
