Into The Unknown, Together

irst and foremost, I hope everyone is staying safe, healthy and home where possible. With that said, being home, and trying to


maintain any sense of normalcy while keeping the business rolling for our communities is HARD.


What went from the pleasure and privilege in skipping a commute and working remote from time to time has become something else entirely, being cut off from the usual camaraderie and what would now be welcome interruptions  let’s add the blessings of children, and home-schooling responsibilities if they’re old enough or trying to keep your toddler (or dog) entertained while you’re on a conference call.

social distancing is another experience all together, making conference calling and remote meetings one of the few breaks in solitude. Or perhaps you’re reading this article and you’ve experienced losing your position with your current company, or have been furloughed and unable to continue to help your association?


Know this, WSCAI Community has your back and there is no greater time to stay connected with your networks and social media outlets to stay engaged.


Look For The Positives


Life is not the norm right now, but we are in this together  linings in this changed working environment. To start, ask yourself these questions, and answer them several times:  What are the silver linings of working remote?
