AGC of California Focuses on Developing Our Workforce

BY PETER TATEISHI, CEO A

GC of California is passionate about developing our workforce. Our members understand that we

must support both our existing and future employees while illustrating to the public that construction is an industry of choice. A key objective of AGC of California, we strive to deliver value through opportunities like building your competency and investing in our industry’s future. Over the past few years, AGC of Cal-

everything that Californians touch. We literally build communities. We should strive to build and celebrate our own. Our culture matters. How we choose to invest in and de- velop our culture now will determine whether we pivot public perception about construction careers, which offer well-paying jobs, with clear paths to career advancement, which make a difference in our state and our world. AGC of California is committed to

providing the resources and support to inspire our members and the construc- tion industry to be stronger and with more inclusive leaders. We invite you and your company to learn and engage with us through our many new offerings that support our industry’s development. Whether it is utilizing a toolbox talk

on mental health awareness or enrolling in a cohort with Project Engage, AGC of California provides opportunities that will make a difference in your company’s and the industry’s direction. Join us in development and change.
