Project Engage Officially Launches

ering marked the official launch of Project Engage, the world-class leadership development experience. Te innovative program represents a dynamic partnership of Procore, GiANT,
A
and AGC of California (AGC). It was created in response to the question asked by leaders across the construction industry – “How can we leverage leadership and culture development to increase business success?” Te answer: engagement. Construction professionals at all stages of their careers signed up to be the first
graduating class of the unique program that features both in-person and virtual components. Te multilayered leadership journey is framed with interactive cohort connections, hands-on learning experiences and premier one-on-one executive coaching with clear objectives. Te three-day, intensive kickoff event in April connected participants with their five-to-seven-person cohort groups and focused on “starting to build those relationships with the group and the coach,” according to Kendra Bilo, AGC of California, director, training and education. “It was a fantastic experience, and everybody is just so engaged and excited about the program!” Even as this year’s program kicked off, plans were already in the works for the
2023 program. Because of the high level of interest from AGC chapters across the United States, Bilo said the program plans to be held on both the East Coast and the West Coast in its second year. (Stay tuned for more details in the months ahead.) California Constructor reached out to three of this year’s inaugural class members to find out more about them, why they signed up, and what they hope to get out of the program.
