WE HAVE TO DO BILINGUAL MASSES AT MY PARISH... NOW WHAT? Santiago Fernandez

Many of us work in parishes where everyone has to come together for bilingual Masses regularly, like for Holy Week, First Communions, Confirmations, Pentecost and other solemnities. In this session, Santiago will share valuable insight and make practical pastoral recommendations so that we don’t think of this as something we “must do” but rather as a wonderful blessing and opportunity to celebrate our unity in Christ as a parish family. When we approach these opportunities with a humble and open heart, we realize that we need one another and that we can benefit greatly from the gifts that other cultural group brings to the Lord’s Table during the celebration of the Eucharist. Santiago will also showcase some wonderful bilingual music and lead us in a reflection on the joy of being in the presence of one another as the Body of Christ.
