JENNIFER VOITEK KELLY MILBRECHT Ali Group


Carpigiani North America, an Ali Group company, announced several hires. Kelly Milbrecht joined Carpigiani as director of services. He will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of after-sales technical service support to strategic accounts and general market customers. “We are eager to welcome Kelly to the Carpigiani team,” said Joe Takhar, senior director of customer care at Carpigiani. “His 22 years of service management experience in the professional foodservice equipment industry make him a valuable addition to our customer care team.” Milbrecht’s extensive


background includes technical expertise in warewashing, refrigeration and cooking equipment manufactured in North America and Europe. He was most recently with Electrolux Professional Group in North America and previously worked with Hobart Service. He will report directly to Takhar. Milbrecht’s addition to the customer care team signals the continued growth of Carpigiani in the North American market.

Tyler George also joined Carpigiani as West Coast business development manager. He will be responsible for managing the distributors’ network and developing sales in Alaska, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada, and Oregon. “I am extremely honored to join the Carpigiani team in North America, as I am able to provide value and a deep understanding for artisanal ice cream, gelato and frozen desserts,” George stated. “Additionally, I am excited for the opportunity to share 25 years of passion and experience with our clients and future partners, while continuing my journey in this amazing, high-growth category.” George brings to Carpigiani 25 years of experience in the frozen dessert industry, ranging from establishing one of the fi rst gelaterias in the United States to opening 100 Italian gelato stores


while acting as a professional consultant. Most recently, he worked in the Italian ingredient category with MEC3 as an area manager, corporate chef and national key account manager. In addition to his operations and sales background, George is a master gelato chef trained in Italy. He specializes in Italian gelaterias and all varieties of American frozen desserts. In the last fi ve years, he has focused on the health and wellness category, which includes alternative plant- based milks, vegan proteins and alternative clean-label sweeteners.


Alto-Shaam


Furthering investment in its customer experience, Alto-Shaam has promoted Brooke Wilman to the newly created role of inside sales development specialist. In her new role, Wilman, who has been with the business for nearly 20 years, will be responsible for developing Alto- Shaam’s inside sales lead management, implementing enhancements to its CRM systems and improvements to NPS lead survey processes


to better capture customer feedback. Wilman will also be responsible for managing all inbound lead qualifi cation and distribution, as well as developing improvement processes for lead capture for all Alto-Shaam events and webinars.
