ince joining FEDA in April, there’s one refrain I keep hearing from members: there’s no better time to be a part of the association. Dealers spent the last few years constantly reacting to the changes happening around them. Longer equipment lead times, infl ation, shifting customer strategies, warehousing scarcity, volatile cash fl ows, employee retention and recruitment, and so on. It seems like any challenge that could pop up did. But FEDA’s members persevered and are ready to look ahead once again by identifying new ways to grow their businesses and capabilities. FEDA is here to help with several new member tools and resources.

2023 annual profi t survey. The survey collects 2022 fi nancial data from dealers to provide industry benchmarking to participating dealer members so they can analyze how their business performance compares to similar companies in the industry. Dealers gain critical operating insights that can serve as a foundational piece for management meetings, compensation plans, budgeting and other uses. As a reminder, member data for the survey is submitted directly to Benchmark Analytics and is confi dential between Benchmark and members. No other individuals or entities, including FEDA, have access to this data. The profi t survey is specifi c to dealers, but other FEDA resources and member initiatives speak to the interconnectedness of the industry. In 2019, FEDA created manufacturer and associate memberships with the aim of garnering more input from industry leaders and partners
