ARPC CHAPLAINS IN THE FIELD ARPC CHAPLAINS IN THE FIELD
- ing Body for the 25 ARPC military and civilian Chaplains like Chaplains Brown and Creamer. The PRCC endorses a total of 321 Military and Civilian Chaplains and Chaplain Candidates from the ARPC and six other likeminded Presby- terian Denominations. All of these men are committed to the authority of Scripture and eagerly preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Besides providing the Ecclesiastical Endorsement required by their respective branches of service, the staff of the PRCC endeavors to support the Presbyteries by encouraging their Chaplains wherever they are serving with personal visits, calls, emails, by offering training events and other resources and most importantly providing “cover” with whatever religious liberty issues they may face during their careers. By law our Chaplains are permitted to preach and teach in accordance with their denominational beliefs and the PRCC is the guardian of this religious freedom for all ARPC Chaplains. Please pray for these missionaries and their families as they serve God and country. We also have a daily prayer guide called The Guardian if you would be interested. - Dr. James R. Carter, PRCC Executive Director & Endorser
CH (CPT) James A. Brown (Tennessee Valley Pres- bytery) In 2007, my wife and I sensed God calling me to missionary work, and we assumed it was to over- God showed us a different missionary work we had not considered – the chaplaincy. As I prayed through it and looked at options, I began to realize the military is an unreached people group with distinct customs, cul- tures, and language. Since graduation from seminary in 2012, I have had the privilege to serve as a mission- ary to those needing the gospel and as a pastor to those who cannot participate in their local congregation. After multiple combat deployments, and as my family and I prepare for another one, I am constantly amazed at the placed me. I am blessed to have a godly wife, Neely, and three beautiful daughters. I currently serve as the BN Chaplain for 1st Battalion 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne) in Fort Campbell, KY.
“The PRCC Chaplain Ministries means a faithful Christ honoring covering for me and my family, a tangible covenantal connec- tion with other servant leaders both within the PRCC and the ARP, and rich biblically reformed resources and training that spiritu- ally equip me to serve Christ more fully.” CH (COL) Lane Creamer (Northeast Presbytery) Retiring Summer 2022 after 33 years
