ARPWM Vision Statement = ARP Wom- en’s Ministries is an organization which encourages, equips, and connects the community of ARP women to minister together for God’s glory and purpose.

is the type of friendship that binds us deeply. It should be a place where you can ask for prayer and/or be there to lift a sister up in prayer that needs it. You know how powerful it can be when women gather and glorify God together!
Second, we need to equip women to glorify God through their service in the local church, their communities, and the world. This is also an area where our sisters in the faith can help. It’s amazing how
his month I am writing about the EQUIP in our vision statement. I always like to start with the definition. Equip means to supply with the nec- essary items for a particular purpose; and/or prepare (someone) mentally for a particular situation or task. Our website (which is in the pro- cess of getting an overhaul!) has a lot to say about how we need to equip or supply and prepare the ARP women for the work of Women’s Ministry. First, we need to equip women to glorify God through their rela- tionships with other women. That includes creating events and oppor- tunities for connecting! We need to make it a habit of meeting together and serving alongside each other in our church and our communities. Our times of fellowship grow us to- gether as sisters in Christ. When we gather, we study God’s word togeth- er and grow in Christ together. This

faith sisters often help us identify our gifts so that we can serve and support our local churches. Sometimes we don’t see our gifts before a sister points them out. We need to help each other discover our God-given gifts so we can use them in service. Equally important is to reach out to other ARP Women through Meet and Greets and Presbyterial events and spend time together. When we do this, we share ideas and plans and grow from each other’s experiences. (i.e., retreats, mission events, community outreaches, and get-togethers.) Spending time together as ARP Women also helps the younger or newer members to learn more about our denomination and our close relationship with Missionaries around the world. Second Presbyterial had younger girls in the church serve as pages at one of their events. What an excellent way to get the youth involved in Women’s Ministry. Thirdly, we need to Equip leaders to guide women in fellowship together, in service among women, and in service to the local church, the community, and the world and are ready to serve you. Please ask them to use their gifts as needed. For instance, call upon them to help you with events, speakers, and coach you in growing your Women’s Ministry in your church and community. Your WM government starts with ARP WM Board and then goes to the Presbyterial board level. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to them. Their main objective is to help you. Since I started the presidency this year, many women missionaries have communicated that they would love to help with Women’s Ministry in any way they can. That is so encouraging to know they share in our desire to see Wom-
I thank God for each and every one of you. May God grow our ministry as women to glorify our churches, our communities, and the world.
