Before coming to Yavapai Humane Society’s Equine Center, in October of 2018, he had not been ridden for a little over a year. So, Brandi Baker, our Equine Health & Handling Specialist, and a few of our volunteers had fun working with him and riding to help him get back in shape in antici- pation of going to his new home.

In February of 2019, a woman named Susie, who came up from the Scott- sdale area came to the Equine Center, met Chairman and fell in love with him! Chairman was exactly what she was looking for. When Brandi saw them riding together for the first time at the Equine Center, she knew they were going to be a great team as they rode effortlessly together. Susie has been in touch with Brandi keeping her posted on Chairman and she reports that she’s been getting him back into jumping and flat work. She says that everyone comments on how “exquisite” Chairman is. Just looking at the pictures of Chairman is proof of that! We are so happy for both Susie & Chairman!

Perhaps your forever friend is waiting for you at Yavapai Humane Soci- ety Equine Center. Visit us in Chino Valley, AZ. at 3731 North Road 1 West or give us a call 928-515-4947.
