Greetings KVMA Members, I hope you have had a good summer, it’s hard to believe that it is August already!


In this issue, there will be a preview of the KVMA Mid-America Veterinary Con- ference’s 50th Conference Anniversary. Hopefully you have had a chance to review the amazing line up of speakers and special events that are planned. Please keep in mind that you need to reserve your rooms by August 28th at Te Galt House for the reduced room rates. We hope to see you at newly remodeled Galt House – September 22-24, 2023!

KVMA Membership Dues Increase


Tere will be a vote to possibly increase KVMA annual membership dues during the annual business meeting Saturday, September 23rd, at the KVMA conference at Te Galt House. Membership dues have not risen since 2010. Tere is a need with the increase costs of business, conferences, contract services to increase the dues to keep the KVMA running productively.
