1. CALL TO ORDER In Attendance: Debra Hamelback, Jason Rodgers, Brigette Dean-Hines, Ben Redmon, Ernie Martinez, Matt McGlasson, Debra Shoulders, Consuela Reinhart, Tammy Smith, Wade King, Lynn Cassone, Stephanie Crowe, Barb Lewis, Jim Weber, and Mandy Williams Virtual Attendance: Lauren Mirus and Lauren Turley

3. APPROVE MINUTES A. Minutes of September 23rd, 2021 T • Motion to approve minutes. (Smith); 2nd Redmon Vote: APPROVED
B. Minutes of September 25th, 2021 – Annual Business meeting • Motion to approve minutes. (Shoulders); 2nd Dean-Hines Vote: APPROVED
4. FINANCIAL BUSINESS A. Treasury Report – Dr. Wade King • KVMA remains in good financial standing with positive growth from the conference and membership.
B. Investment Report – Dr. Wade King • KVMA’s investments have faired well over the past year and continue to provide a generous positive return.
C. CPA Report from meeting – Dr. Wade King • We have made the switch to a local accounting firm- Charles T. Mitchell based on our previous board meeting vote. Debra and I met with Greg Miklavcic, CPA and reviewed our current procedures. Debra keeps extraordinary records and we have appropriate checks and balances in place. We plan to make a few housekeeping changes based on Greg’s recommendations.
5. NEW BUSINESS A. KVMA Membership Applications • Formal motion to accept applications. (Reinhart); Cundiff 2nd Vote: Minutes APPROVED
B. Dr. Debra Shoulders & Dr. Jason Rodgers • Reflections on 2021 Mid America Conference 1. Very good attendance 2. Speakers well received 3. Food costs have sky rocketed 4. Plan to improve recording ability Reviewed surveys Events reviewed
