Teeing Up for Success: The Eldon Golf Team’s Championship Dreams

With a group of talented and driven young athletes, the team is poised for another successful season. As they work toward a state title, the Mustangs continue to embody the values of teamwork, perseverance, and the importance of having fun on the course.
At the heart of the Eldon golf program is a strong sense of cama- raderie. Whether it’s on the course during practice or in the club- house after a round, the team’s bond is undeniable. “Our team is really special,” says junior Brady Rader. “We push each other every day to get better, and it’s not just about golf; we’re all committed to making the program successful.” Brady, who has been playing golf for most of his life, highlights the importance of the team’s strong foundation of support and how it pushes everyone to excel.
“We’re going to give it everything we’ve got."
Players are not just teammates—they’re family. They celebrate each other’s successes, push each other to be better, and create lifelong memories along the way. One of Cooper Toalson’s favorite moments like that, when you’re with the people you care about, that make golf so special,” he says.

The pair has created a comprehensive youth program through the PGA Junior League, ensuring that kids begin developing their skills early and have the foundation to grow into successful high school players. “Our community has always been behind us,” says junior Zach Hull. “The support we get from the golf club and the The sense of belonging at Eldon Golf Club is something that all team members cherish.
