A long-awaited dream, this moment was years in the making, fueled by hard work, resil- ience, and an unwavering sense of teamwork. The Eagles’ journey to the state championship was not just about winning games but  promise they had made to themselves and their community—to bring home the title that had always felt just out of reach.  game at Mizzou Arena, the Eugene Eagles became legends under the leadership of Brian Wilde, Craig Engelbrecht, and Matthew Heidger. They achieved what no other Eugene team had before them, securing a state title that would forever change the course of their program. But it wasn’t just about the victory itself; it was about the journey—one

 community that rallied behind them every step of the way.
