Henry Irvin T e Pharmacist Making a Diff erence Award


was presented to Henry Irvin. To be eligible for nomination of this award, the pharmacist must have shown a desire to go above and beyond the call of duty to provide quality pharmacy care and make a diff erence in patients’ quality of life. Henry grew up in a farming town in


Southern Illinois where the local pharmacists sparked his interest and encouraged him to apply to St. Louis College of Pharmacy where he graduated from in 2006. Henry spent most of his professional career in a community pharmacy as a pharmacy manager in Branson West. For two years Henry worked with a nonprofi t clinic in Branson to help in their vision to establish the fi rst charitable pharmacy in Missouri. T is mission was achieved in February of 2023 and since then, My Neighbor’s Charitable Pharmacy has helped nearly 1,000 uninsured and underinsured patients receive the medications they need to stay healthy. Henry comments, “I am blessed to see


the impact of access to medications for our uninsured patients at Neighbor’s Pharmacy in removing the burden of the expense of staying healthy.”


Faith Oliver T e 2024 STLCOP at UHSP Student


Member of the Year Award was presented to Faith Oliver. T is award is presented annually to one student member each at the University of Missouri – Kansas City, School of Pharmacy and at the St. Louis College of Pharmacy at the University of Health Sciences & Pharmacy in St. Louis for their commitment to pharmacy and community, as evidenced by membership and participation in pharmacy organizations and community involvement. Faith Oliver, PharmD Candidate of 2025 is


a STLCOP women’s basketball alumni, former president of the schools National Community Pharmacist Association chapter, former president of the Pharmaceutical Cosmetics Club, as well as having served as a director of communications for Industry Pharmacists Organization. She has attended the MPA Pharmacy Leadership Program, annual conferences, legislative days, and was selected to represent Missouri on behalf of student pharmacists and the profession of pharmacy, in Washington D.C. during RxImpact Day through NACDS. Her involvement and dedication to the profession is something that she aspires to enhance daily. She enjoys exploring new coff ee shops and is excited to travel over the next few months as she continues her Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences in the states and internationally.


Daphne Boggs T e 2024 UMKC Student Member of the


Year Award was presented to Daphne Boggs. T is award is presented annually to one student member each at the University of Missouri – Kansas City, School of Pharmacy and at the St. Louis College of Pharmacy at the University of Health Sciences & Pharmacy in St. Louis for their commitment to pharmacy and community, as evidenced by membership and participation in pharmacy organizations and community involvement. Daphne has been active in Missouri


Pharmacy Association since the beginning of her pharmacy school career. Attending multiple Legislative Day’s, Annual Conferences, and Regional meetings, and serving as one of the MPA Liaisons for UMKC. Her passion for legislation extends to her previous role as the APhA-ASP Policy Vice President, and continues on into her rotations and future career. Looking forward, Daphne aims to pursue a residency in oncology or pharmacogenomics and return to the Ozarks to serve her community.
