Try this classic treat with a fun pumpkin-spice twist! Grab a friend and ask for a parent’s help.
Grab: • A box of cinnamon crispy rice squares cereal
• 12 oz. pure white chocolate • 3 teaspoons ground cinnamon (2 for the chocolate mixture; 1 for later) /2
• 1 1 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
• 1 cup powdered sugar • 1 cup mellowcreme pumpkins • 1 cup candy corn
Go: • In a microwave-safe bowl, gradually melt white chocolate.
Stir every twenty seconds until smooth. • Stir two teaspoons of cinnamon and the pumpkin pie spice into the white chocolate. • Pour crispy rice squares into a large bowl. Pour chocolate mixture on top and gently stir, being careful not to crush ce- real pieces. • Place one more teaspoon of cinnamon and the powdered sugar into a large zip-top bag. Add cereal mixture and seal bag. Shake gently until cereal is thoroughly coated in pow- der mixture. • Add mellowcreme pumpkins and candy corn. • Pour puppy chow into a large bowl and share with friends!
