- - Jesus by means of the engrafted Holy Spirit that the redeemed elect are charged to bring the Church to perfection, a perfection anticipated in this life and - is aggrieved by it, will he not renounce it and avoid it in his pursuit of righteousness? Where does this come from? How is it that true believers can con- fess that they do not love God and neighbor as they should? A true believer, will he not be confessing fewer recognized sins?
