Women’s Ministries Second: Everyone who serves on the ARPWM Board is ready and willing to help you set
up a circle, get ideas for a Jubilee Birthday Party, suggest speakers for an event you are hav- ing, or brainstorm ways that you can improve participation at your meetings. Once a year, the ARP Magazine publishes a list of the members of the ARPWM Board and their contact information. If you don’t have that, my email is

s 2025 rolls in, many people will make New Year’s Resolutions. I wonder what percentage of those
resolutions will be carried out or will still be in place by the end of the year. As I assume my role as President of ARPWM in January, I do have some “goals” that I hope will be reached by the end of 2025. If you are a cir- board member, or a member of the ARPWM Board, I hope that you will take some time and also at the end of 2025 to ask yourself– “How did I do?”
What are my goals as President of AR- PWM for 2025? • To help every woman in the ARP denomination realize that she is a part of Women’s Ministries.
• To make myself and members of the ARPWM Board “ready resources” for help with any type of WM project or problem.
• To encourage women to accept an
• To glorify God in all that we do. How can I reach these goals?
First: If you are a woman who is a mem-
ber of an ARP church, you are a part of Women’s Ministries. Your group may call yourselves WOC (women of the church) or some other name. You may not be a mem- ber of a circle but you may go to a women’s bible study. Do you serve your church in nursery, at meals, in decorating the church, or in a card ministry? Do you attend events at church for the ladies? Do you share your talents wherever they are needed? Do you attend your church on Sunday? You are a member of Women’s Ministries.
Fourth: God is the reason that we serve in Women’s Ministries. He gave each of us gifts that we can use to glorify Him. Pray about what your group and you individually are doing. different people, and all are needed to contribute to a good outcome! It is my hope that I can look back on 2025 a year from now and ask, “How did I do?’ and see progress on my goals. What are your goals?
Catawba Presbyterial’s Christ-Centered Women’s Ministry
Catawba Women’s Ministry (CWM) exists to encourage, equip, and connect all wom-
en in ARP churches across the Catawba Presbyterial to ultimately minister together for God’s glory and purpose. An ambitious executive board meets quarterly to plan events that align with and support that mission. Connecting with more women throughout a larger Presbyterial has been and will continue to be a priority for the board. CWM desires that all women in the ARP church know Jesus intimately, love Jesus
events yearly, a spring “Meet & Greet” and a fall “Gather & Grow.” These half-day events are hosted by churches across the presbyterial and include practical and spiritual equipping sessions, enjoyable fellowship time, worship, and good food. In addition to these events, every other year CWM sponsors a Women’s Retreat at Bonclarken. Febru- ary 21-22, 2025, is the next retreat date. CWM stands upon the direction provided in Titus chapter two. We strive to keep a “women teaching women” focus. The board is also trying to increase interest in a younger generation of women to increase multigenerational fellowship. Catawba Women’s Ministry has not just grown in number of ARP Women in the
Presbyterial but also are growing in number of active women. We have updated our social media presence in both Facebook and Instagram platforms. The board has ap- proved a Social Media chair position for the 2025 year. This position is currently avail- able and the board would greatly value any nominations or interest. The board can be reached through these social media outlets as well as through email, which are all being monitored on a regular basis. If you are a woman in Catawba Presbyterial and
CWMOFTHEARP@gmail.com to get on the distribution list. We need all Women’s Min- istry Presidents at the church level to connect with our board. If you are a President and are not on our mailing list, please email and introduce yourself. At Catawba Women’s Ministry we pray you will come alongside us as we all strive to glorify God and serve His Son, Jesus Christ.
