Lovely Bouquet Grab: • Construction paper: white, red, pink, and purple
• Scissors • Glue stick • Markers: green and black • A thin piece of pink ribbon (long enough to tie a bow)
Go: • Fold a sheet of white paper in half to form a card shape. • Cut medium-size heart shapes from red, pink, and pur- ple construction paper. • Use your black marker to sketch fun designs onto these hearts: dots, zigzags, stripes, etc.! Get creative! • Glue heart shapes in a bundle near the top of the front of your blank white card. Let dry. • Use your green marker to draw multiple stems emerging from the bottom of your bundle of hearts and intersecting near the middle of the card. • Tie your pink ribbon into a bow and glue it where your stems intersect. Let dry. • Write a sweet message inside (see below) and give your card to someone you love!
Write a Sweet Message To whom will you write? Perhaps you wish to tell your par- ents how much you appreciate them. Perhaps you wish to encourage an elderly member of your church. Include these verses and share Jesus’ love this Valentine’s Day! • “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” – Lamentations 3:22-23
• “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” – John 3:16
• “…God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” – Romans 5:8
• “Love never ends.” – 1 Corinthians 13:8a • “So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.” – 1 Corinthians 13:13
• “Let all that you do be done in love.” – 1 Corinthians 16:14
