EDUCATION AND WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT

and board members of AGC CEF and Go Build have been traveling the state, holding informational meetings and webinars to build even greater support for the initiative. In November 2017, AGC CEF

announced Procore, a leading provider of cloud-based applications for construction, as a Pipeline Partner. Te partnership with Procore is made possible through Procore.org, the company’s for-good initiative, and is the first of its kind for the association and will provide exclusive learning opportu- nities and experiences to current AGC Student Chapter members. “Te goals of Procore.org align

with those of the AGC CEF to educate and support the advancement of the next generation construction workforce,” said Darryl Kysar, director of Procore.org. “By leveraging the best resources of both organizations we’ll be helping to empower the future

launch of the full Go Build California website and database and in providing additional marketing resources to ensure Go Build California’s brand and message reaches far and wide. “We are excited to partner with an

construction workforce with innovative education and training opportunities.

Ensuring a Far-Reaching Message

As part of its Pipeline Partnership,

Procore.org has also committed to support the AGC CEF Go Build California workforce development campaign at the Platinum Partner level. As AGC CEF’s first confirmed Platinum Partner for Go Build California, Procore will play a critical role in funding the development and

organization that shares our passion for promoting careers in construction,” said Erin Volk, vice president of workforce and operations for AGC of California and AGC CEF. “Tis is a tremendous opportunity for us to extend our reach globally and brings momentum to addressing a critical industry issue – workforce development.” “Launching the Go Build

California website is the next phase in bolstering California’s pipeline of tradesmen and women,” added Woods. “It’s part of the paradigm shift to emphasize the opportunities that exist and to connect future skilled workers to the pipeline of resources, training, and projects.” 
