Russ Wright Director
Independent Farmers Bank, Maysville Russ Wright worked at three different banks for five different owners — but he never actually changed employers. He started as a teller at Security Bank of Auxvasse, working through the ranks to vice president. Ten years later, the bank was purchased by the owner of
Security Bank of Rich Hill, and Wright was transferred to that bank to serve as executive vice president/CEO. Within a few months, he was transferred to Te Farmers Bank of Maysville as president/CEO. Te regional bank failed, and a bank in New York City became the new owner. A local group obtained regulatory approval to purchase the Maysville bank, returning it to local ownership. Wright then began a new journey with Independent Farmers Bank. Two branches were added, and the bank grew from $14 million to $150 million.
He and his wife, Dianna, enjoy spending time with their eight grandchildren.
