To understand the latest chapter in Dan Robb’s banking career, one must look to a specific event in 1997.


Robb had joined First Community National Bank in Cuba to assist with lending and branch management. Meanwhile, in Jefferson City, the Missouri Bankers Association was preparing for its annual legislative Target Banker visits. Robb wanted to expand his knowledge and role with his new bank, so he signed up for his first Target Banker visit. He watched the floor proceedings from the House gallery and asked MBA staff numerous questions.
