DOUG REASONER MICHAEL KELLY SCOTT KUNI Norbec
Norbec, a manufacturer that produces prefabricated walk- in coolers and freezers, has hired two new regional sales managers, Doug Reasoner and Scott Kuni. In their new roles, Reasoner will handle the Midwest and Northeastern territories while Kuni will manage the West, Central and Southeastern territories. Reasoner is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and has a background in culinary arts and sales. He began his sales career with Marstan Industries and Singer Equipment, before setting up his own successful manufacturer’s representative fi rm. After selling the fi rm, Reasoner went on to hold various sales management positions at Refrigeration Design Technologies, Component Hardware Group and Thermo-Kool.
Kuni, meanwhile, is an accomplished sales executive with more than a decade of experience in the walk-in cooler and freezer industry. He has previously held roles at Brucha Corp., Everidge and Chrane Foodservice Solutions and has a focus on the central and southern United States. “With their extensive industry experience, they’re ready to fuel Norbec’s growth and deliver top-notch service to our valued customers,” Norbec said. “The expansion of the sales force will increase Norbec’s representation in
the U.S. foodservice and convenience store markets.”
Structural Concepts Structural Concepts, a manufacturer specializing in refrigerated and heated food displays, has hired Michael Kelly as director of autonomous retail merchandiser sales. Kelly most recently served
as the director of national accounts for Alto-Shaam and has also worked as a corporate chef at Everidge and a regional sales manager at Marra Forni. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from West Virginia University and an associate’s degree in culinary arts and chef training from the Le Cordon Bleu Institute of Culinary Arts-Pittsburg. “His vast experience working within the foodservice equipment industry, combined with an impressive background on the culinary side, will be an asset to the organization as we continue to grow our business within the automation category,” Alex Tappé, vice president of sales for Structural Concepts, said in a press release.

plumbing products, has appointed Kevin Herndon as the new regional sales manager for the West Coast and Tim Schmidt as the regional sales manager for the East Coast.
Herndon brings a wealth of experience to T&S Brass, having served as a sales and marketing manager for Hoshizaki America for several years. His extensive background includes roles as a foodservice representative and as a business
development manager for a Midwest-based distributor specializing in T&S products. “Kevin’s diverse experience and deep understanding of the industry make him an invaluable addition to our team,” said Mike Orlando, director of sales, foodservice at T&S Brass. “We are confi dent his expertise will further strengthen our relationships and drive growth on the West Coast.” Meanwhile, Schmidt joins T&S Brass from PRF Marketing, where he served as one of the principals and developed his expertise in sales and marketing strategies. Before his role at PRF Marketing, he gained experience as a sales representative for Anderson Foodservice (AFS), T&S’ foodservice representative in Wisconsin. “We are excited to welcome Tim to our team as the new regional sales manager for the East
Coast,” Orlando said. “Tim’s extensive background in working with representatives, dealers, consultants and chefs, combined with his leadership on the board of directors for the Milwaukee chapter of the American Culinary Federation, make him an ideal fi t for this role.”
Thermo-Kool
Thermo-Kool, a Mississippi- based manufacturer, has promoted Paul Moss to vice president and comptroller. Moss joined Thermo-Kool in 2015 as the accounting manager, a position that is responsible for the accounting, credit and payroll departments. In this role, he ensured that accuracy, punctuality and confi dentiality remain paramount in daily responsibilities. Additionally, he held his departments to a high standard while adhering to the walk-in refrigerator and blast chiller manufacturer’s policies and culture, especially with his leading by example. In announcing Moss’
promotion, Thermo-Kool President and CEO Rand McLaughlin said, “Paul has proven to be a reliable and trusted source regarding all aspects of fi nance that impact both the present and future operations of the company.
