Traveling to the FEDA Annual Conference
Attendees can pick from several airport and ground transportation options for getting to and from Colorado Springs.
T
he FEDA Annual Executive Leadership Conference, Sept. 17- 20, 2024, is quickly approaching, so those who haven’t booked their travel and hotel arrangements are encouraged to do so
as soon as possible.
To help make your experience easier, FEDA has compiled a list of recommended travel options attendees can use when booking their fl ights and transportation to the conference site, the Cheyenne Mountain Resort. We encourage you to review these options and to email
conference@feda.com if you need assistance or have any questions.
Transportation Options
Cheyenne Mountain Resort is located at 3225 Broadmoor Valley Rd., Colorado Springs, Colorado, and is a 10-mile drive from Colorado Springs Airport (COS) and about 90 miles from Denver International Airport (DIA). The four primary travel options are as follows:
Option 1 - Fly into the Colorado Springs Airport (COS) and take a rideshare to the resort, which is located about 10 miles away from the airport. A map of nonstop fl ight routes is available at https://
coloradosprings.gov/nonstop-route-map.
Option 2 - Fly into the Denver Airport (DEN) and take a rideshare to the resort. The cost is about $100 each way.
Option 3 - Fly into the Denver Airport (DEN) and rent a car. Self- parking is free at the resort.
Option 4 - Fly into the Denver Airport (DEN) and take a shuttle from Groome Transportation (
groometransportation.com) to the Doubletree Hotel at 1775 E. Cheyenne Mountain Blvd., Colorado Springs. The Doubletree is located about 2 miles from Cheyenne Mountain Resort and rideshare pickups are available for transportation between the hotels.
