Today, we help to support two special ladies and call them our Jubilee Birthday ladies: Rebekah Carson, a missionary in Germany, and Shelia Osborne, World Witness Development Coordinator. I have been to several different types of Jubilee Birthday celebra- tions. One example is that you have a sheet cake decorated for a birth- day and use it for dessert at one of your church meals (while asking for donations!) At a large church, I attended an event where ladies sat at tables according to their birth month. On a nearby table, there were twelve cakes, each decorated for a particular month, provided by various circles. After the meal (and donation time), one person from each month was the winner of the cake decorated for their month. If a missionary is home on furlough, groups will often get one of them to speak at their event as well. Some women’s ministry groups have Jubi- lee Birthday as a line item in their yearly budget and send that amount plus any donations made at their event for the support of our Jubilee Birthday ladies.

More info to come for all ARPWM activities during Synod week and

Family Bible Conference. Our Annual meeting is to be held July 26th.

In the last issue of the ARP, I asked if your circle would like to try an experiment to see if a small gift given by many could make a differ- ence. The suggestion was for each circle to designate $10 per month for an extra offering for Bonclarken in January and February. Can we try this in circles for March and April to raise extra funds for Jubilee Birthday ladies in addition to your line
