Half of responding camps (53%) indicated that they encourage decisions or recommitments to Christ but do not keep track of numbers.
About one in eight (13%) camps did not regularly encourage decisions/recommitments as part of their programs.
About a third of camps (34%) kept track of these numbers. A quarter of these reported 50 or fewer decisions/recommitments A quarter reported 51–100 A quarter reported 101–250 A quarter reported more than 250
The average number of decisions/recommitments was 266, averaging about 15% of the camp’s overnight camp attendance.

Decisions and Recommitments
While most camps and conference centers (78%) indicated that they encouraged decisions or recommitments to Christ during their retreat programs, very few (10% of the total) kept track of the number of decisions or recommitments to Christ as part of their retreat programs. Because of the small number of respondents offering numbers (only 17), this does not provide usable data.
