In February, 2020, Te Kentucky Veterinary Medical Association (KVMA) proudly announced its program for members to purchase Pet Oxygen Mask Kits. By partnering with KVMA, members can purchase these kits that they can provide to their local First Responders and help save pet lives in emergency situations.

KVMA is responsible for all the paperwork and ordering of the mask kits. Te kits are shipped directly to the clinics so that veterinarians can distribute them directly to their local Fire Departments and EMTs. Should the Fire Department or EMT that is chosen to receive the Kits be spoken for, the KVMA will des- ignate another one in the next closest area. Partnering with KVMA in the Pet Oxygen Mask Program will help save pet lives in your community!

To donate a life-saving Pet Oxygen Mask to a Fire Department in your community, forms are available on the KVMA website or by contacting the KVMA. 
