PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
Greetings From Te KVMA, Can you believe we are halfway through the year? I sincerely hope you have had time to enjoy the summer, family, and friends. Hazy, hot, humid, with a chance of rain seems to be the weather forecast now until frost but that allows you to be more grateful for those ran- dom, cool mornings. Te fall season is near, which means... REG- ISTRATION FOR THE MID-AMERICA CONFERENCE IS OPEN. Tis meeting would not be possible without the planning committee led by Dr. Jason Rogers, our industry council, KVMA board, and Debra Hamelback. We have planned this meeting to provide educational opportunities for the office staff, technicians, as well as veterinarians. We also have plenty of time for you to visit with old friends and meet new colleagues.
Tis has been a busy, stressful year for a lot of people. With that in mind, we have included a wellness tract at our conference for you as well as your staff. De-stress Friday evening with appetizers, drinks, and live entertainment by the Artie Dean Harris Band. Saturday afternoon we are having the first Young Pro- fessionals Networking Event and the Power of Ten Reunion. Te goal of our conference this year is to provide you with an exceptional educational opportunity as well as fun and fellowship.
We hope to see you in Louisville at Mid-America this year. Tis past year has made us appreciate the connections we have with our family, our friends, and our community. I can’t wait to see everyone and meet our new colleagues
