Aid, I really do. Unfortunately, IAVM is behind in addressing this im- portant topic, and all things considered, maybe I’m not surprised. The - sive Leadership discussions have not been, shall we say, overnight sen- sations. They’ve gained traction over time, like any movement, but even now – when it’s current, timely, and critical to evaluate and issue our purpose and promise to our members for how we will treat one another – ‘crickets’ from our leadership. We, as an association, have failed to make any statement or even acknowledge this very important cultural earthquake that we are a part of. As a woman waking up to the movement my- self and forming a value system around what’s happening, I’m left to wonder, is it because we are protecting men in our own organization who may have behaved badly? I don’t know; I hope not. I’d like to think that’s not the case. Let me also say I’m not perfect. I’ve made mistakes, and honestly
