Consider supporting TLI by donating an auction item or sponsoring a raffle basket for Orlando. Te fundraising activities will include the annual auction as well as a series of raffle drawings. We are looking for members to sponsor the raffle baskets so that we’ll have an exciting array of options to attract raffle ticket buyers! Te baskets available to sponsor range in value from $400 - $1,100 and are a fun way to show your support for TLI and TPI. Wednesday is Field Day Wednesday will feature the Field Day at H&H Sod where attendees can watch equipment demonstrations in action, speak with vendors and company representatives, and see all the latest developments in the sod production industry.

Te topics of the proposed sessions for which we are seeking participants are as follows:


• All things trucking: Including but not limited to safety, trailer selections, tarping, tracking, GPS, hiring and keeping drivers, etc.


• Sales staff management: How do you manage your sales force, from pay to training to reporting and more!


• H2A system: We are looking for growers who have successfully worked with the H2A program and who would be willing to share their experiences.


If you have a system that is working for any of these topics, please consider participating! Also, if you KNOW someone who has an effective system for these issues, please reach out to nominate them!

Thursday Events On Tursday, events move back to the hotel for the always- appreciated inspirational breakfast, a second general session, nine more education sessions, and exhibit hall time. Te conference will wrap up with Show & Tell presentations from new members of the TPI Board of Trustees.


Great Sessions Planned Confirmed speakers for education sessions include former Denver Broncos great Karl Mecklenburg; Dr. Jim Brosnan from the University of Tennessee (herbicide resistance); Dr. Bridget Behe from Michigan State University (marketing of horticultural products); Dr. Marco Schiavon of the University of Florida (mapping and monitoring cooling effects of turfgrass); and Dr. Cesar Escalante of the University of Georgia (business and financial management).


Tere will also be panel discussions and sessions on social media use, sales force management, family dynamics in a business setting, and more! Do you have knowledge and experiences you’d like to share with your peers? Please consider being part of a panel discussion in Orlando! Tis is an easy and informative way to share your experiences with other members and make new connections. Panelists will NOT be required to make a formal presentation to the audience but instead will be asked questions via
