CONFERENCE & FIELD DAY WILL BE MAGICAL! And, also tentatively scheduled on Monday, is a NEW EVENT FOR WOMEN IN TURF. TPI is proud to announce the introduction of a networking reception for women to be held in Orlando as part of TPI’s 2020 International Education Conference & Field Day. Tis is a long-overdue opportunity for the women in our industry to get together and network, collaborate, and share experiences. Bring your family to Orlando to gather with the TPI Family and Discover the Magic!
Plans are moving forward for TPI’s 2020 International Education Conference & Field Day, scheduled for February 17-20, 2020, at the Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace. Te Field Day will be hosted by H&H Sod Company.
Attendees will find the location easy to access from the Orlando International Airport. Te hotel, located across the street within walking distance of the popular Disney Springs area, is a Disney-affiliated hotel and all guests who wish to include a theme park visit in their trip will have access to Disney’s Extra Magic Hours and FastPass+ Service. Hotel booking is open now. Registration is expected to open in early October so watch TPI’s website and your inbox for more information!
Monday Events Te week will kick off on Monday, February 17, with the return of the ever-popular Rootin’ Tootin’ Clay Shootin’ competition to benefit Te Lawn Institute (TLI). Tis fun event will accommodate teams and individual entrants and promises to be a fun day for all!
Tuesday Events On Tuesday, there will be many activities to choose from, including the opening session, nine education sessions, the annual business meeting, and exhibit hall time.
Tere also will be opportunities to sit in during the meetings of the TPI Membership Working Group, Te Lawn Institute Fundraising Committee, and Te Lawn Institute Research Committee. It’s a great way to discover what’s happening in these important areas and maybe discover that you’d like to get involved by volunteering to serve in one of them.
Te evening will conclude with a TLI fundraising dessert reception after the exhibit hall time.

Come have dessert with your friends and make memories with your family in the photo area featuring several Disney characters. There also will be raffles for many exciting items, including steak of the month, wine baskets, home speakers, Yeti coolers, travel gift packages, and more!
Also on Monday, will be a family-friendly social tour at a local Orlando attraction—and a pre-conference seminar on financial management. You will be able to take part in either the Rootin’ Tootin’ Clay Shootin’ competition or the family-friendly social tour—AND then attend the financial management seminar.
Tis full day of activities will conclude with the First Time Attendee Welcome Reception and the President’s Welcome Reception.
