THE WORLD OF LAMBORGHINI FALL 2015 Super Trofeo World Final

A

t the Super Trofeo World Final at Sebring International Raceway more than 65 cars, five different winners and five titles were awarded. The third edition of the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo World Final (held in North America for the first time) produced exciting

races with top-quality drivers enhancing the consid- erable level reached by the series in the debut year of the Lamborghini Huracán LP 620-2 Super Trofeo. Patrick Kujala was crowned the 2015 PRO Champion after an intense finale. The Finn, racing with Bonaldi Motorsport, managed two error-free races that granted him the double after the title

won in the European Super Trofeo. Kujala won Race One and ended up second in Race Two behind Patric Niederhauser. American Corey Lewis (Carolinas/Change

Racing) stormed the PRO-AM Class, winning both races in the World Final. Lewis added the World Final title and victories to his Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo North America PRO-AM championship. The AM World Final title went to Ryan Ockey, also the AM champion of the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo North America. The Vancouver/O'Gara Motorsport Canadian driver won Race One Saturday and managed P2 in Race Two, which was deeply af-

fected by wet conditions and by several safety car appearances. Race Two was won by the X-Bionic Racing Team duo of the two Swiss drivers Laurent Jenny and Cedric Leimer. The thrilling finale also crowned champions in

the Gallardo PRO-AM and AM classes. Brit Jake Rattenbury (Carolinas/Change Racing), already in- volved in the Lamborghini Squadra Corse Young Drivers Program, and American Brandon Gdovic (Palm Beach/Mitchum Motorsport) took the honors. Josh Hurley (Miami/Musante-Courtney Racing) won Race One but was forced to retire today, while the Bonaldi Motorsport duo of Andres Josephsohn and Ricardo Vera took the flag in Race Two. LA VITA
