Awards of Excellence Do you have a colleague or student who has gone above and beyond in
those members who have demonstrated outstanding service to both one of our coveted Awards of Excellence. Don’t let your peers hard work go unnoticed! Submit your nominations by March 31, and help us invaluable contributions to the advancement of play, play therapy, and credentialed play therapists.
Board of Directors Are you a professional member with strong leadership qualities, play
therapy expertise, and policy governance knowledge, with a desire to become more involved in Association governance? If so, APT invites you to submit the Board of Directors candidate questionnaire by March 31! A maximum of six eligible director candidates will be selected by the Nominations Committee, chaired by Immediate Past Chair Jodi Crane. Director candidate biographies and online voting information will be released in the June magazine.

Congratulations to Janice Ward, PhD, LPC, ACS, RPT-S, NCC (middle), Kirsten LaMantia, PhD, LPC, NCC (left), Holly Wagner, PhD, LPC, NCC (right), and the Southeast Missouri State Play Therapy Center at Southeast Missouri State University. By earning a designation as an Approved Center of Play Therapy Education, Southeast Missouri State University offers its extensive play therapy curriculum to mental health faculty, students, and practitioners. Southeast Missouri State University is the 32nd Approved Center of Play Therapy education.
