CAI Festival on the Lake: Cheers to
It is time for guests to trade in their sea legs and put on their dancing shoes for “CAI Festival on the Lake: Cheers to 50 Years.” This year, the Summer Social is entering an exciting new chapter with a change of scenery. CAI-IL is bringing the celebration ashore to Theatre on the Lake in the same beautiful city, Chicago, on August 13th. The new venue offers a stunning view of the skyline and lake, while preserving the spirit of the Summer Social. We hope to enhance the overall experience with an expanded space, fewer weather limitations, and a fresh backdrop. A perfect way to commemorate 50 years of community, collaboration, and growth.
Throughout the event, guests will be able to seamlessly move between the indoor and outdoor space, both offering their own energy. Attendees can look forward to a mix of activities to spread connections and have some fun along the beautiful lakefront. Outdoor games, including cornhole and giant Jenga, will offer a relaxed way to break the ice. The outdoor open space encourages easy, natural conversation, whether you are engaging in some friendly competition or just enjoying the view with colleagues. This also allows some fresh air and a break from the indoor atmosphere, while still being able to enjoy the music through the outdoor speakers.

booth will surely allow you to capture a memorable moment with friends and colleagues on an unforgettable day. Throughout the event, there will
be special tributes to CAI-IL’s 50-year milestone celebrating their impact within the community association industry. The fluid indoor-outdoor experience ensures there will always be something engaging for the attendees.
A thoughtful curated selection of food and beverages will be provided throughout the event. With an inclusive wrap and sandwich assortment to an array of hors d’oeuvres, the menu is designed to offer something for every palate and accommodation. And we promise we didn’t forget about some sweet treats! A full bar will be offered as well including cocktails, beer, and wine to keep the celebration flowing. Don’t forget to grab your champagne for a toast while arriving, with a fun twist. The culinary experience will enhance the festive energy of the event allowing guests to indulge and raise a glass to 50 years.
As “CAI Festival on the Lake: Cheers to 50 Years” brings together colleagues for a meaningful milestone, it also promises an unforgettable memory. Every detail has been designed to honor the past and celebrate the future of CAI-IL and the Summer Social.
