A Splash of Color celebrates 16 years High-seller brings $16,000

Bobbie Stovall (left) presents Josh and Johanna Weir with a 15-year service award for their decade and a half participation in the sale.

Sale. We celebrated a great in-house crowd with our normal complementary BBQ lunch and lot viewing prior to the start of the sale. The sale showcased 110 elite lots and the auction began at 12-noon local time. The auction featured a donation lot, #50, in mem- ory of our sale’s late founder, Danny Stovall. The proceeds from Lot 50 were sent to the Boer Goat Nation scholarship program. During Lot 50, the sale presented our most senior consignor with a 15-year service award. Josh and Johanna Weir of Double J farms in Nowata, Okla., have been a continu- ous consigner for 15 of the last 16 years the sale has been in existence!
