Middleby Corp. has appointed Brittany Cerwin as CFO. She succeeds Bryan Mittelman, who has served as CFO since 2019 and will transition to the role of special adviser to the CEO.


“Brittany has been an integral part of the Middleby corporate fi nance team since joining us 15 years ago,” CEO Tim FitzGerald said. “Her fi nancial expertise and exceptional leadership are highly respected across the organization. Refrigerated Solutions Group (RSG) has appointed Derek Lusk as key account director. Lusk brings more than 20 years of experience in the foodservice equipment industry to RSG, the parent company of the Master-Bilt and Norlake brands. The company noted Lusk has a track record of supporting national account customers and complex, multi-location programs. In this role, he will focus on strengthening RSG’s partnerships with key chain accounts and helping customers navigate evolving

operational and regulatory demands. Before joining RSG, Lusk served as a national account manager at ITW Food Equipment Group, where he managed a portfolio of national chain customers. In her new role, Denton Rex will focus on shaping the company’s business development engine and scaling its distribution business nationwide. Denton Rex joined the company in 2014 as an account executive at the M. Tucker division. In 2020, she became a senior account executive for strategic accounts at Singer.

Barry “Bud” Ward has joined UNOX as vice president of key accounts for North America. In his new role, Ward will manage relationships with large-scale foodservice operators and national accounts. Additionally, he will lead strategic sales planning and national rollout programs and collaborate with internal teams to align customer needs with the oven manufacturer’s product capabilities and support resources. “Bud’s experience


managing complex, national- scale accounts is exactly what UNOX needs as we grow our presence with major operators,” said Derrick Richardson, president of UNOX North America.
