Middleby Middleby, a FEDA manufacturer member, has promoted Jason Hall to vice president of sales and culinary for the Crown Steam Group, which represents the Crown, Firex and Market Forge brands. He previously served as vice president of culinary research and development and is a certifi ed master chef. As vice president of sales and culinary, Hall will be involved in direct sales and selling strategies for Crown, while continuing to infl uence the development and design of the next generation of the group’s commercial kitchen products.

member, Perlick Molinari brings a combination of personal connection and professional breadth to the CEO role. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Columbia University, his law degree from Marquette University Law School and a Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Before joining Perlick, he was a nationally recognized trial attorney, earning distinctions such as Super Lawyers’ “Rising Star” and being named among the Top 100 Trial Attorneys by the National Trial Lawyers Association.

Perlick Molinarir returned to the family business in 2014 and quickly advanced through leadership roles in customer service, operations, strategy, legal, and sales. Most recently, he served as Perlick’s vice president of channel strategy and general counsel.
Singer Equipment Co. Michael Greenwald, a former member of the FEDA Board of Directors, has retired after 45 years in the foodservice equipment and supplies industry. Greenwald began his
career in 1980 at Harry Appell & Son and spent 16 years at M. Tucker Co., which later became part of Singer Equipment Company. From there, he moved into the technology side of the industry, leading companies that provided product data used by dealers in their operations and quoting. In 2018, he rejoined Singer Equipment Company as president of Singer M. Tucker and eventually rose to vice president of contract technology.

and cared deeply about its people and institutions but, most importantly, he was a joy to work with as a team member,” said Fred Singer,
president and CEO of Singer Equipment Company. “He brought a lifetime of industry experience, coupled with a sharp intellect — and an even sharper sense of humor — to all of his endeavors. He will be long remembered and sorely missed by the entire Singer family.”
VITLIFE America VITLIFE America, a FEDA manufacturer member that produces commercial refrigeration equipment, has hired Mike Alsman as director of sales for its growing commercial business. In his new role, Alsman
will be responsible for driving quantum growth through distribution and manufacturers’ representative agencies across North America. He has more than three decades of experience in commercial refrigeration sales and service, having most recently served as a business development manager for Due North Refrigeration. With the addition of Alsman to VITLIFE’s executive team, Frank Ma and Sanjay Gupta, the managing partners for VITLIFE, said the company is “primed for higher growth and profi tability.”
